Grant Writing Office Hours

Do you need expert advice on an aspect of a grant you are writing? You can find it at the CTSI Grant Writing Office Hours. Drop-in on Zoom or in-person at the appointed time, and an experienced and well-funded investigator will discuss your questions with you.

Grant Writing Office Hours are open to review a specific part of your grant, such as Specific Aims, a K award Career Development Plan, Significance and Innovation, Biosketch or your summary statement. Office hours are also open to discuss questions about application strategy or how to structure your application. 

NOTE: For advice on very specific aspects of your science, you should rely on your mentoring team. This is also not the venue for someone to read your entire grant.

Online Option

Online with Dr. Loren E. Wold, PhD, FAHA, FAPS, Interim Sr. Associate Vice President, Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge, Professor, Department of Surgery (Cardiac)

Dr. Wold's office hours are virtual on Zoom on the first Friday of the month from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

In-Person Option

In-Person with Dr. Julie Johnson, PharmD, Director and Principal Investigator of the Clinical and Translational Science Institute, Associate Dean for Clinical and Translational Research in the Ohio State College of Medicine, Associate Vice President of Research for The Ohio State University, Dr. Samuel T. and Lois Felts Mercer Professorship of Medicine and Pharmacology and Professor of Medicine and Pharmacy. 

Dr. Johnson's office hours are the third Tuesday of the month from 9 - 10 a.m. in Prior Hall, Suite 260
